25:33 minutes (2.93 MB) God credited Abraham's faith as righteousness before Abraham had really done anything. Abraham did believe that God's promises would be fulfilled to him. This kind of faith is what saves a man, not the outward appearances or shows of action. With that said, won't true faith produce a righteous life? Can we say we have true faith when we deny Christ with our actions? If we have been crucified with Christ our old life is dead and we are now slaves to righteousness. This is the power of God over sin in our lives. Are we not aquanted with the simple teaching about righteousness that comes by faith in God, it is not through our own works, but God producing fruit from his children. If we are not producing fruit, one needs to question if they are really born of God. »
